What Real Patients Are Saying
Ashley LisowskiJuly 24, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When my husband suddenly developed necrotizing fasciitis, our lives changed in an instant. It was a terrifying, life-or-death situation that no one is ever prepared to face. From the moment Dr. Justin Burkholder learned what was happening, he dropped everything and threw himself into every detail of my husband’s care. He didn’t hesitate. He showed up — fully, completely, and with a level of compassion and expertise that is incredibly rare. Dr. Burkholder was not just a doctor in those moments — he became a lifeline. He helped me navigate an overwhelming medical crisis when my husband was too sick to make decisions himself. He translated complicated information into clear guidance. He asked the right questions, challenged assumptions when needed, and helped me advocate for the best possible care. His calm presence steadied me during some of the most traumatic days of my life. I will never forget how supported I felt having him in our corner. His knowledge is exceptional, but it’s his dedication that truly sets him apart. Dr. Burkholder cared for my husband like he was family. That level of personal investment is something you can’t teach — it comes from who he is at his core. I would use Dr. Burkholder’s services again in a heartbeat. Knowing that he’s launching a concierge medical practice is truly a gift to anyone lucky enough to be under his care. He’s the kind of doctor you want by your side — in crisis, in health, and for everything in between. B T BellinoJuly 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Testimonial by Brian Bellino Hello, it’s pretty simple to say, if it was not for Dr. Justin Burkholder, I would not be writing this now. Dr. Justin Burkholder was on duty as the Emergency Roon doctor at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach when he first met me. I don’t recall or sensed much after driving myself and my wife Amy to the ER other than I was not feeling well before arriving. Shortly after my arrival, I suffered a Cardiac Arrest and Heart Attack. I do know, if it wasn’t for Dr. Burkholder’s persistence and fearless innovation to bring me back, I would not be here. I was later informed that he refused to “call it” per normal ER protocol, he persuasively and rapidly convinced the team to extend the normal resuscitation period for patients in my predicament. Hours later, while I was recovering, miraculously Dr. Burkholder’s intuitive instinct kicked in. After a long demanding evening and well into early morning at the hospital, Dr. Burkholder chose to check in on me prior to leaving for home. He then discovered one of my lungs had collapsed and I needed resuscitation again. Next month, in August of 2025, we will celebrate the 8th anniversary of our life changing events and I offer my sincere thanks to Dr. Burkholder and our families. Today we respectively refer to one another as the “miracle man” (the patient) and the guardian angel (the doctor) as well as keep in cordial contact with each other and my occasionally my share a beer. Sincerely, Brian Bellino Amy BellinoJuly 15, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My opinion of Dr. Burkholder is that he has the ability to look at the whole situation to diagnose and treat. He does not focus on “one thing” but rather treats the whole person, mind and body. Dr. Burkholder has the highly qualified ability and insight to move you from illness to recovery, along with the compassion and guidance to maintain wellness for many years to come. Dr. Burkholder is also very clear and comprehensive in his communication and explanations, making sure the patient understands the strategy of their health goals as well as how to implement and maintain them. Dr. Burkholder saved my husband’s life. My husband’s heart stopped beating just a few minutes after meeting Dr. Burkholder. My husband had what is called a widow-maker blockage and it stopped his heart about a dozen times over forty-five minutes. Once my husband was stabilized, Dr. Burkholder checked on my well-being, helped me to call our family and even made sure I was fed. Eventually, we were discharged from Dr. Burkholder’s ER to the ICU. While I was waiting to be allowed back into the ICU, I was surprised to see Dr. Burkholder arrive to the ward after his shift had ended. We spoke briefly before he went to check with his colleagues on my husband and managed to save his life again, while not even on duty. In the move from the ER to the ICU, one of my husband’s lungs had collapsed. The Doctors on that floor were focusing on my husband’s heart, as that had been the situation needing attention in the ER. Once Dr. Burkholder arrived, he very quickly realized the situation had changed from one department to the next and was able to quickly dissect the problem and direct his colleagues to a solution. Dr. Burkholder used the ultrasound wand they had been using to look at my husband’s heart to inspect both lungs and show that one had collapsed on the gurney ride up from the ER, effectively saving my husband’s life again. Dr. Burkholder affectionately refers to my husband as the Miracle Man for surviving against all odds, but we think of him as the Miracle Doctor because he fought against all of the odds to give my husband the opportunity to survive and thrive. Chase LenfestJuly 10, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Burkholder has been a friend for over 20 years. i am 61 years old and very athletic , top ranked squash player in country, but, recently diagnosed with Parkinson. I have been consulting with Dr. Burkholder for many years about all the latest fads, hyperbaric, stem cell, red light therapy, cold plunge, diet, anti-aging gurus and now he is leading my research on Parkinsons. His personality is perfectly suited for concierge medicine. He is a great listener and really cares about people and has a very open mind, very different from most doctors. He does great research and is passionate about getting the best results!!! Katie KalogeropoulosJuly 4, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Burkholder has been an incredible resource for our family. When my children become ill, or I have a question about a skin concern, I reached out expecting general advice—but instead, he responded quickly, asked thoughtful, thorough questions, and gave a clear plan that completely resolved the issue. His diagnosis was accurate, and thanks to him, we avoided a long wait and unnecessary trip to the pediatrician. He brings a rare mix of accessibility, clinical precision, and genuine care. It’s the kind of support every parent hopes for.
